Don’t ever give up fighting for your dreams!

Paulo Coelho tells in O Diario de Um Mago that fighting for your dreams is the most honorable war:

“Fighting from the heart is a war that we fight due to our heart’s will. In the ages of heroes and chevalliers, that was easy. There were lands to conquer and lots of things to do in terms of being a hero. However, our world changed a lot and fights occur within our hearts.

Fighting from the heart is about our dreams. When we were young, by the first time a dream emerges in our mind, we are really very bold about making our dreams come true. We just didn’t knew how to fight yet. As time passes by, we learn how to fight and unfortunately, at the time we learn how to fight there isn’t any courage left in us.

Therefore, we turn to ourselves and we fight internally with ourselves. We became the worst enemy of ourselves. We tend to think that our dreams are childish, too difficult to make them come true or they emerge because of the fact that we didn’t have enough knowledge on life. Then we kill our dreams because we became afraid of them.”

Thus, we would do the worst for ourselves!
