Star of David, Holy Grail and Women’s Rights

There is a clear misinterpretation of symbols in our world. The Star of David, usually known as a symbol for Judaism (which is not a misinterpretation), has also a meaning that is identical to yin & yang. The triangle that looks down resembles evil, dark, night, passive, sad, something which is negative where the other triangle that looks upwards resembles the good, light, happy, active day and something which is positive.

Moreover, the dark side also stands for the feminine characteristics whereas the light and good side represents masculine characteristics, thus the male.

Well, this is an obvious misinterpretation of the symbol. It’s true that the downward looking triangle represents the female. However why evil, why dark? The symbol doesn’t mean a downgrade, it’s just the resemblance of sexual organs. It’s not necessarily a comparison or representation of good and evil.

We wish the world a better perspective where genders are not afraid from each other.
